Database access is becoming increasingly complex as enterprise APIs deliver centralized data access with identity management, access control and complex transformations. This impacts enterprise analytics platforms that expect SQL access because the published enterprise APIs for data access are often engineered for application developers and return payloads in XML or JSON. This session will discuss best practices and lessons learned when extending your APIs with SQL clients (ODBC/JDBC) to include data engineers and data scientists for enterprise business analytics.
